War on Error received an honorable mention designation from the Gustavus Myers Center for the Study of Bigotry and Human Rights book awards for 2008. The Meyers Center reviews and identifies "outstanding books written each year about discrimination and bigotry, and ways to develop equitable future communities and societies."
